CARBON Exhibit at the Dennos Museum
CARBON, set to run June 24-Sept. 20, is an installation of large-scale photographs, most of which will cover the entire gallery walls.
“When Charles asked me if there was anyone I know who could print his images of the scale he wanted for our galleries, I told him the only company I knew that could do what he wanted was Britten Banners,” Jenneman said. “Paul Britten and I met with Charles in New York City last December and the project was underway.”
According to Jenneman, the exhibit will also be Dennos Museum’s first to allow visitors to take home an actual piece of the exhibit—although only once the exhibit has closed.
“When the exhibition closes the banner photos will be recycled by Britten’s priorLIFE™ company into usable items that will be sold in the museum store,” he said. “This will be our first ‘recycled’ exhibition and a unique opportunity for visitors to buy a transformed work of art.” http://www.dennosmuseum.org/exhibitions/current/2009-exhibitions/carbon.html

In an east coast kickoff to the summer racing season, Britten recently helped on an annual Triathlon by providing vibrant, branded event graphics including 3,500 feet of fence banners installed along the race route and finish line, individually personalized posters that, during the event marked the location for the Professional Athletes competing, and a fully decked out MasterTent Pavilion that was used as an information booth.

In June, Britten provided print, production, and installation of large format banners and decals which were placed on existing cabinets that face the grandstand and put up fence scrim along the road leading into the track.

Britten has covered vacant barricades in vibrant colors of lifestyle messaging both branding and heralding the coming excitement and energy at the new development. The combination of print imaging combined with the existing open retailers generates a sense of added urgency for new lease prospects as well as customers.
