TRAVERSE CITY, MI, May 13, 2008 – priorLIFE, a newly formed subsidiary of digital banner  manufacturer Britten, Inc., today announces the delivery of its first-ever recycled banner  bags. The Davis Cup Winston-Salem Local Organizing Committee accepted delivery of  150 banner tote bags to distribute to volunteers from the recent Davis Cup by BNP  Paribas quarterfinal between the United States and France, hosted by the United States  Tennis Association (USTA) in Winston-Salem, NC.  The bags were created by recycling  several building wraps and advertising banners that welcomed the team and fans to the city on April  11-13, 2008.

“We worked with Corporate Communications, Britten reseller, and USTA to recycle  these event banners into chic, one-of-a-kind tote bags for the event volunteers,” said  Pam Klumpp, director, priorLIFE. “The banner bags not only give people a chance to  carry a piece of that event with them, they give companies and organizations the  opportunity to be environmentally friendly.”

The tote bag design included the U.S. Davis Cup team logo along with flags and the  message "USA/France Davis Cup Quarterfinal Tie, April 11-13, 2008, Winston-Salem  NC."  Inside each bag was a priorLIFE label with information about its origin along with a  tennis ball.

“What a great surprise!” said Winston-Salem Davis Cup volunteer co-director Harold  Pollard. “I had a fabulous time during my week at the Davis Cup and to have this  stunning tote bag to remember it by is wonderful.”

Event volunteers included drivers, greeters, hospitality workers, ball persons and  coaches, team valets, production assistants, media coordinators, office support staff,  community artists and entertainment personnel.

“The week was special due to the energy and enthusiasm of the volunteers,” said  Winston-Salem Davis Cup volunteer co-director Doug Roberts, “Commemorating their  experience with this special bag while knowing we weren’t contributing to the landfills  was a smart solution.”
