Britten, Inc. Provides New Look and Feel for Eastern Michigan University Campus
Over 350 light pole banners are helping visitors and first-time students find their way around more easily and are providing a whole new look on the campus of Eastern Michigan University (EMU) in Ypsilanti, MI.
"The outdoor banners are receiving positive attention and feedback from students, visitors and local residents," said Derrick Graff, EMU's director of athletics. "Working with Britten to design and produce these brought our idea for better directional signs to a whole new level."
The majority of the 21-square foot street light banners identify buildings in easy-to-read white letters, and include large color photographs of the buildings and the EMU logo andagline, "Education First." Around the Convocation Center, there is one stadium banner dedicated to each of the 21 sports at EMU, with the name of the sport and color photos of student-athletes.
"It was amazing even to us how much these light pole banners changed the complexion of the EMU campus," said Todd Schmitt, Sports & Events Market Leader, Britten.
